RS485 / RS-485

Note: HMI070WU-16ATCS and HMI070LU-16ATCS only

The 7" version with plastic case provides a RS-485 interface.

RS-485, also known as TIA-485(-A) or EIA-485, is a standard, originally introduced in 1983, defining the electrical characteristics of drivers and receivers for use in serial communications systems.

Connectors on rear side provide "RS485 A" and "RS485 B" plus GND and 24V= input. Baudrates are from 9,600 to 921,600 baud (1, 1.5 or 2 stop bits), w. and w./o. parity. Default is 115,200 baud, 1 stop bit, no parity.

To set those parameter use HMIdesigner software section "Hardware". Or you may check and control directly at the display in Boot menu.
